26/02/2019 Another holiday from school has been and gone and as usual – now I’m back at work looking forward to the next holiday – I’m thinking back over the week we’ve just had and what’s been achieved. It was, as always, another busy Scouting week with preparations for many forthcoming and exciting activities, events and challenges ahead as well as the odd job that’s been on the ‘to-do list’ for ages. 25/02/2019 Last week I was lucky enough to sneak onto a Safeguarding course for Commissioners run by the Safeguarding team at Gilwell Park. While it’s always nice to visit the home of Scouting (and check up on Chris’ brick in the Promise Path), I wasn’t excepting much –  it was actually a surprisingly enlightening day. The BEST thing you’ll do this week (and that’s a promise)

Want find out what your child does at Beavers or Cubs? While you’re at it, help them gain a new badge – just for coming along. Join us on Tuesday 15th January and join in with them and their friends. We’re inviting each Beaver and Cub to bring along a parent or another trusted adult to join in with the activities. Just for doing that, they’ll get the Scout Mate badge and you’ll get a certificate!
